I never heard of this type of scam before and wanted to know can they do anything like put charges on your account by means of duplicate boxes. I know in the old days those boxes had those cards and people could use those card readers to break the codes to get channels for free. I wonder if they found a way to do this since they do not use that card in the boxes any more. I'll be on the look out for this one-my mom has DISH. I've received 2 calls saying that tjey are from dish and that they need to get my box information. I called dish and they said that they would have that information and that it is a scam to get your account info so they can use it to set up a new account.

Asks money via VISA Vanilla card or Money order etc. They asks your account access and place order with Dish Network. Dish Network ignores the authenticity and complies to get his client to bind in Two year Contract. Some time they pay your bills by fraud Credit cards, so that you can see your account paid full for one two years. Later paid money goes to charge back and Dish imposes heavy penalties and take back all the money. You already paid money to the Crooks. They uses Google or Magic Jacks phone. Changes frequently.
